Did I drop?

I think the baby dropped today. We’ll find out at my next appt. He feels lower and I am having lots of pain in my "hoo-ha" too.

Ugh, another disappointing Dr Visit

Another Dr visit….she said I’m completely closed! Is Grayson ever going to come out?

36 weeks, 2 days

So, another Dr visit today. They showed I lost 2 lbs, which is good, considering last visit, I had gained 6! So, my total at the office is 33 lbs, 41 at home. Group B was negative, so I don’t have to have antibiotics at delivery. She checked me again and said I was still high and closed. I asked her how that was possible since I was 1 cm last week. She said I was a fingertip, but that counts as closed. I’m confused! How can I be making backwards progression? So, now I can't help but think he will be late like the other 2 kids. I may end up with a July 4th baby afterall. GGGRRRRRR, this is frustrating. I have decided that I am going to walk on the treadmill as much as possible now to help get things going. I quit the gym 3 weeks ago because of my chest cold, and since I have such horrible crotch pain, I haven’t made it a point to return. I need to get my butt in gear on that for weight reasons, and to help the labor progress. So, starting tonight, I am going to try and do at least an hour on the treadmill, even if it’s at a slower pace. I’ll check back in when I have more news.

Could it be "birth" day?

Well, I had my baby shower today, and I got lots of diapers! I really didn’t need much of anything, so it was perfect! I got diapers, wipes, lotions, body wash, etc…. Then, Melissa and I went to go see Sex and the City. Good movie. On the way home, I had a few contractions and after a few of them, I realized they were coming at regular 7 minute intervals. They continued for about 2 hours. Chris got a little excited thinking it may be the day, but until they got harder, or to 5 minute intervals, we couldn’t go to the hospital. Hopefully, they are doing something though.

35 weeks- Dr Update!

So, the Dr checked my cervix today, and I am dilated to 1 cm! I am not effacing at all, and the head is still high, but the dilating got me excited! I have NEVER dilated with any of my pregnancies. It makes me feel more confident that Grayson will come a little bit early, which I welcome at this point with all the pain I am having. I just want to make it to Saturday. It’s my baby shower and the Sex and the City movie premiere.

33 weeks

Today, I am 33 ½ weeks. This is going by quickly! 6 weeks to go! I have been having doubts that Grayson will wait until his due date to come out. I will be OK if he does, since my other 2 were late, but I think he will come early. I have been having terrible crotch stabbing and twingeing pains. I've read that means you are dilating. These pains are so undescribable. It feels like someone has a knife and they are stabbing it into my "hoo-ha" and twisting it around....all the time. It doesn't go away. Dr Norton will start checking me on my next visit to see if I’ve dilated. According to the Dr, I only gained 1 lbs since week 24, so they have me at 29 lbs total, 37 by my scale. I haven’t been doing well on my eating, but I guess I have been doing OK and not too bad or it would be a lot more. I may make it to delivery without passing the 47 lb mark again….we’ll see. He probably weighs about 6 lbs by now. Grayson moves around like crazy! He is constantly stabbing me and his feet are sticking out. He moved to the left side finally. So, it looks like he is in birthing position and ready to come out. I can’t wait to meet him. Brayden picked up on the potty training really quickly and is fully potty trained, as of May 1st. Chris got moved to 2nd shift on Tuesday, and so it’s been a few hard days. The kids are having a hard time adjusting and so am I, so it’s been a crying, whining fest for the past 2 days. They miss their Daddy. So do I. I am sooo excited for this birth! I cannot say it enough, I want to meet Grayson already!!!!!
