Could it be "birth" day?

Well, I had my baby shower today, and I got lots of diapers! I really didn’t need much of anything, so it was perfect! I got diapers, wipes, lotions, body wash, etc…. Then, Melissa and I went to go see Sex and the City. Good movie. On the way home, I had a few contractions and after a few of them, I realized they were coming at regular 7 minute intervals. They continued for about 2 hours. Chris got a little excited thinking it may be the day, but until they got harder, or to 5 minute intervals, we couldn’t go to the hospital. Hopefully, they are doing something though.

35 weeks- Dr Update!

So, the Dr checked my cervix today, and I am dilated to 1 cm! I am not effacing at all, and the head is still high, but the dilating got me excited! I have NEVER dilated with any of my pregnancies. It makes me feel more confident that Grayson will come a little bit early, which I welcome at this point with all the pain I am having. I just want to make it to Saturday. It’s my baby shower and the Sex and the City movie premiere.

33 weeks

Today, I am 33 ½ weeks. This is going by quickly! 6 weeks to go! I have been having doubts that Grayson will wait until his due date to come out. I will be OK if he does, since my other 2 were late, but I think he will come early. I have been having terrible crotch stabbing and twingeing pains. I've read that means you are dilating. These pains are so undescribable. It feels like someone has a knife and they are stabbing it into my "hoo-ha" and twisting it around....all the time. It doesn't go away. Dr Norton will start checking me on my next visit to see if I’ve dilated. According to the Dr, I only gained 1 lbs since week 24, so they have me at 29 lbs total, 37 by my scale. I haven’t been doing well on my eating, but I guess I have been doing OK and not too bad or it would be a lot more. I may make it to delivery without passing the 47 lb mark again….we’ll see. He probably weighs about 6 lbs by now. Grayson moves around like crazy! He is constantly stabbing me and his feet are sticking out. He moved to the left side finally. So, it looks like he is in birthing position and ready to come out. I can’t wait to meet him. Brayden picked up on the potty training really quickly and is fully potty trained, as of May 1st. Chris got moved to 2nd shift on Tuesday, and so it’s been a few hard days. The kids are having a hard time adjusting and so am I, so it’s been a crying, whining fest for the past 2 days. They miss their Daddy. So do I. I am sooo excited for this birth! I cannot say it enough, I want to meet Grayson already!!!!!
