A site to share the progress of our son, Grayson, diagnosed with Sagittal Craniosynostosis in his 2nd day of life. He underwent surgery on 8-8-08 to correct it. I also post about my exciting adventures as a Stay-At-Home-Mommy to 3 kids.

New Year, New Beginnings
I haven’t posted in a while. We had a good Christmas, a good New Years, and Chris had a good birthday. I finally made it back to the gym this week. I started back on Monday and I have gone every day. We got Brayden’s big boy room all done! YAY! He looks so tiny sleeping in his bed. He’s like 30” and the bed is like 72” so he looks very tiny. Especially since his room looks so big. I’m in week 16 now. I’ll finish off week 16 on Sunday. I went to the Dr on Wednesday. She wants me to go to the neurologist. I have unexplained headaches that don’t go away with Tylenol or sleep. They last about a day and a half, so for precautions, she wants me to go. According to their scale, I only gained 4 lbs over the holidays, but mine said 7. I think their scale was way off last visit, which would explain the difference. On their charts, I have gained 11 lbs total. On mine, I have gained 17. It sucks to gain so much, but a lot of it was Holiday weight, so now that those are over, maybe I’ll be able to taper off to only a few lbs per month….yah right… Easier said than done. We got to hear the heartbeat. It was 158. I think that is supposed to mean it's a girl??? I am finally able to go all day without taking naps. I am ready for bed by 9 though, so I guess it’s a fair tradeoff. Maybe the aerobics really helps too. I finally got to go to the pilates class this week. It was good. I am NOT limber, but I guess it will come over time. All in all, things are good. Not much new to post though until we know the gender!!!
